Emily says:
Anthony Hopkins is downright creepy in this movie, which is all I could remember about it when we started watching it. The first time I was too creeped out to really appreciate the film - especially Jodie Foster's performance as the young FBI agent, and Ted Levine as "Buffalo Bill."

This movie is actually better the second time around. I wasn't distracted by how creepy it all was and was more able to focus on the excellent plot and characters. Still not sure if I'd want to watch it over and over again, but an excellent work for sure.
