Emily says: So, this is one of those iconic movies that everyone has heard of and always talks about. I'd never seen it before, and honestly, I didn't think it was really worth all of the hype. James Dean plays a good angsty teenager and all, but I just didn't think this movie was anything all that special.
It is very sad how James Dean died right after this movie was filmed, and tragic how young he was. I do think that it would have been interesting to see where his acting career had gone if his fate had been different, but this movie just didn't live up to the hype.
